Nirav Savalia, M.D.

Dr. Nirav B. Savalia is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon in private practice in Newport Beach, Calif. He is founder and medical director of the Newport Beach Center for Plastic Surgery, as well as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at both the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California and the UC-Irvine Medical Center in Irvine, Calif. Dr. Savalia is an expert in aesthetic plastic surgery techniques as well as oncoplastic breast reconstruction.

After earning his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, Dr. Savalia embarked on a rigorous course of postdoctoral training in general surgery and plastic and reconstructive surgery. He completed general surgery residency at New Jersey Medical School at the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey, and residency training in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Savalia holds memberships with the following prestigious professional organizations: American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Orange County Society of Plastic Surgeons. He has been recognized as a Physician of Excellence by the Orange County Medical Association and has received the Fellow’s Teaching Award for Outstanding Plastic Surgery Teaching by the USC/Hoag Breast Fellowship Program for the past three years.

Dr. Savalia is an integral part of the USC Breast Fellowship Program at Hoag Hospital in Newport Beach, and has lectured nationally about oncoplastic breast reconstruction.
